The Delaware Valley Oracle Users Group Inc. Meeting Information


Scheduling for the November 7th makeup meeting (remember the power failure at the September 12 meeting?) has proved too difficult at this time.  As a result, we have been forced to cancel the meeting.  We will try to reschedule at a later date that is more convenient for our presenters and attendees.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

The last meeting dates were Friday, September 12, 2003, March 21, 2003, September 13, 2002, June 7, 2002, March 8, 2002, September 14, 2001, June 8, 2001, March 23, 2001, September 15, 2000, June 23, 2000, March 3, 2000, September 17, 1999 and June 25, 1999.

Our Meetings are held quarterly with care taken to avoid conflict with other events. Generally a meeting will be held on the first Friday of the last month of a quarter (March, June, September and December. Occasionally, we will shift the date a week or two to avoid conflicting with another user group's meeting.

Most meetings are held at the Blair Mill Inn in Horsham, PA.

Normal attendance is about fifty Oracle developers, designers, DBAs and managers.

A catered lunch is offered costing between twelve and eighteen dollars, depending on the entree chosen by the attendee.

In addition to more than seven technical presentations and the DBA forum at each meeting, there is a demo room which is provided to vendors to showcase a particular product deemed to have sufficient interest and usefulness to the client base.

In out Vendor Forum, tables are available at a cost of $125, used to help defray the cost of the meeting. We are able to accept only fifteen vendors, so a reservation is necessary.
